Product care & warranties

Our wooden outdoor furniture is treated with a light coating for added protection. Because wood is a natural material, it expands and contracts with temperature changes. You may notice small cracks and splits developing over time, rest assured, these are normal natural occurrences and do not compromise the strength or durability of your furniture.

To keep your furniture looking its best and to extend its lifespan, follow these simple care instructions:

Regular Cleaning
Routine wipe-downs: Keep your furniture clean by wiping it regularly with a damp cloth.

Deep cleaning: Every few months, or whenever the furniture looks like it needs a refresh, clean it using a diluted mild detergent. The exact frequency will depend on your furniture's location and its exposure to vegetation and airborne pollution.

Prompt spill removal: Clean up any spills or deposits as soon as possible to prevent them from staining the wood.

Avoid abrasives: Never use abrasive cleaning substances, scouring pads, or stiff brushes. These will degrade the surface finish and reduce its resistance to dirt.

Seasonal Maintenance
Apply a protector: Twice a year, apply a high-quality wood protector designed for outdoor furniture. This shields the wood from environmental elements and extends its life.

Timing: Apply the treatment once in the autumn to prepare the wood for harsh winter conditions, and again in the spring to safeguard it for the warmer weather ahead.

Weather Protection and Storage
Limit extreme exposure: To extend the life of your furniture, avoid overexposing it to long hours of direct sunlight or harsh elements whenever possible.

Winter and wet weather: Prolong the life of your furniture by bringing it indoors or storing it in a dry place during the winter months and during periods of heavy, prolonged rain.

Use the right covers: If you choose to leave the furniture outside and use a protective cover, ensure the cover is strictly breathable. It must allow air circulation so it does not trap moisture underneath, which can damage the wood.
