Creating breathtaking products means the world to us, but not at the expense of people, the planet or our integrity. In fact, we’ve been doing this for long enough to learn that when we truly put these areas first the best end-results are able to be achieved, and our customers are able to purchase knowing they’ve helped contribute towards a better tomorrow.
Journeying towards sustainability
We firmly reject the throwaway culture that’s become common in the furniture and fashion world. Instead of chasing trends or producing in bulk, we make everything in small batches, by hand, using time-honoured techniques.
Sustainability starts with smart material choices. 99% of our wooden furniture is made from solid wood, which lasts far longer than MDF, veneers and chipboard. These cheaper alternatives - held together with chemical adhesives - wear quickly and are hard to repair. Solid wood, on the other hand, is stronger, long-lasting, and can be refinished rather than replaced. Where possible, we use FSC-certified timber to support responsible forestry. By combining thoughtful design with durable materials, we reduce waste and create furniture that’s made to last - not end up in landfill.

Every piece we create is made by hand, using time-honored techniques that bring durability and character to every design. We work with solid, natural materials, ensuring our furniture not only looks great but stands the test of time.
We produce in small batches, allowing for greater attention to detail. To maintain our high standards, we work year-round with a dedicated five-person quality control team who check only our products. Their expertise ensures every item meets our expectations before it reaches our customers.
Homegrown & here to stay
We’re a family-run business based just outside Nottingham. Being UK-based means we’re involved in every part of the process - from product development to packing orders and helping customers. It allows us to stay hands-on, make decisions quickly, and offer a more personal, reliable service.
Having our base in the UK also means we’re never far from our customers. Whether it’s sorting a delivery, answering a question, or working on a new idea, we’re right here when you need us. It also means that we're able to have a direct impact on the community which we live, partnering with local firms and people keeping all profits here in the UK.
