Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 - OUR PRODUCTS
The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. All product photography, descriptions, and dimensions are provided as accurately as possible. Whilst we do all we can to present our images as true to life as possible, colour accuracy from monitor to monitor can occur meaning real-life products may vary slightly from items shown on screen.
Our company specialises in handmade items made from natural materials. For items such as these, customers should expect very minor imperfections in the product. Due to the handmade nature of our items, sizes, colours, weights and capacities can vary up to 5%.
Due to the natural characteristics of wood, there will always be some degree of variation in grain and colour among our products. Each piece is unique, and these variations are part of the inherent beauty of wood. We strive to ensure that all our furniture meets our stringent quality standards, and while we make every effort to provide accurate product images and descriptions, we cannot guarantee an exact match to what is depicted on our website.
We reserve the right to alter and improve our designs at any point; this includes dimensions, colours and materials. Should consistency in dimensions, colours and materials be important to a customer, we highly recommend placing your order for each required item at the same time.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all Vaunt Design items are intended for domestic residential use only. We do not use commercial grade upholstery or other materials. Whilst we do make our products available for use in commercial settings, we cannot guarantee the durability of our items in these environments, and commercial, hospitality or high-traffic use may affect product performance and invalidate applicable guarantees or claims.
SECTION 4 - MADE-TO-ORDER & UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE
All Vaunt Design sofas and upholstered items are handmade to order specifically for each customer. Orders are produced according to your selected fabric, size, configuration, leg finish, and modular arrangement (where applicable). As each piece is individually handcrafted, slight variations in dimensions may occur as part of the natural character of upholstered furniture. Standard manufacturing tolerances of up to 3cm may apply.
Fabric Samples & Batches: We strongly recommend ordering fabric samples before placing your order. Viewing a fabric sample in your home environment is the best way to assess the true colour, texture and character of the material. If multiple upholstered items are ordered together, we can ensure they are upholstered using the same fabric batch. However, for items ordered separately at different times, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match due to different dye lots and fabric batches. As all sofas are handmade to order, fabric selections cannot be changed once production has commenced.
Natural Characteristics: Due to the nature of upholstered furniture and premium upholstery fabrics, certain characteristics are considered normal and do not constitute manufacturing faults. These include fabric creasing and softening, pile shading and pressure marks on velvet fabrics, feather movement and cushion settlement, variations in fabric texture and weave, natural slubs within linen or woven fabrics, softening of seat interiors over time, timber grain variation, and fading of fabrics exposed to UV light.
Fire Retardancy: All Vaunt Design upholstery fabrics conform to applicable UK domestic Cigarette and Match (Cig & Match) fire safety regulations. They are not certified to Crib 5 contract standards unless explicitly stated.
SECTION 5 - PRICING, PAYMENT & OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
All prices shown are in GBP (£) and include VAT. We offer a range of payment options, including finance through approved providers. Full payment is required before production commences. Finance applications are subject to status, affordability checks and lender approval. Full finance terms and conditions will be provided during the checkout process.
All goods remain the property of Vaunt Design until paid for in full. We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time prior to order confirmation.
SECTION 6 - DELIVERY & ACCESS RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Times: We work closely with our manufacturing and delivery partners to ensure all orders are completed and dispatched within the stated lead time wherever possible. Occasional delays outside of our control may arise due to material availability, production scheduling or third-party delivery services. We shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations where such delays arise from circumstances outside of our reasonable control (including material shortages, supplier delays, strikes, transport disruption, severe weather, or pandemics).
Access Responsibilities (Made-to-Order): Customers are responsible for ensuring that all ordered furniture will fit through the access route and into the intended room prior to delivery (including doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, ceiling height, and turning spaces). Please refer to our Sofa Fitting Guide before ordering. We are unable to accept returns or cancellations for made-to-order items where delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions or incorrect measurements. Failed deliveries of made-to-order items due to restricted or inadequate access may incur additional delivery, collection or re-delivery charges.
Inspection on Delivery:
Made-to-Order: Customers should inspect these items upon delivery. In the unlikely event that custom furniture arrives with obvious damage, our dedicated delivery team will be able to return it to us immediately.
Standard (Non-Custom) Items: Deliveries for standard, non-custom items are handled by standard courier networks. Please note that these drivers will not wait for you to unpack and inspect your items upon delivery. If your standard item is found to be damaged upon opening, please contact our team promptly with photographs of the item and packaging, as outlined in our Returns Policy.
Refusal Of Delivery: Where delivery is refused, the customer is unavailable, or delivery cannot be completed for reasons outside of our control, additional storage, collection or re-delivery charges may apply.
SECTION 7 - CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & FAULT RESOLUTION
Standard (Non-Custom) Items: For cancellations and returns of all standard, off-the-shelf items, please refer to our standard Returns Policy.
Order Amendments & Cancellations (Made-to-Order): All Vaunt Design sofas and upholstered items are handmade to order and produced to your chosen specifications. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised or made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation rights applicable to distance purchases. Once production has commenced, we are unable to accept cancellations or returns unless the item is faulty or not as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Returns (Made-to-Order): Due to the made-to-order nature of our furniture, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind, "doesn't suit", preference change after ordering, incorrect room measurements, or access restrictions.
Fault Resolution: In the unlikely event that an issue arises with your furniture, we reserve the right to inspect, repair or replace the affected item or component before offering a refund or cancellation. Many issues can be resolved effectively through professional repair, replacement covers/interiors, or in-home service visits. Natural characteristics of upholstery materials are not considered manufacturing faults. Nothing within these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
SECTION 8 - CARE, MAINTENANCE & GUARANTEES
Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided with their furniture (accessible via QR code on the underside of items). Improper cleaning, misuse, neglect or unauthorised repairs may invalidate applicable guarantees or claims.
Ten-Year Frame Guarantee: We offer a ten-year guarantee on the structural hardwood frames and springs/webbing systems within our sofas and upholstered furniture, under normal domestic residential use.
One-Year Upholstery Guarantee: We provide a one-year guarantee covering upholstery workmanship, stitching, seam failure, cushion interiors, and mechanical components where applicable.
Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper cleaning, commercial use (unless agreed), fabric fading/dye transfer, pet damage, natural softening/settlement, pile movement, timber variations, or damage from excessive loading.
If you believe your furniture has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact our team with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs.
SECTION 9 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
