Based in Long Eaton, the historic home of British upholstery, our makers have built a reputation for producing furniture for some of the UK's most respected retailers. Combining traditional craftsmanship with precision machinery, they create beautifully upholstered sofas that are made to stand the test of time.

Working closely alongside our team throughout the design and development process, our partners have been manufacturing upholstered sofas for more than 40 years, bringing decades of specialist knowledge to every piece they create.

Their cushion constructions have been carefully developed and refined through years of prototyping, testing and real-world use to achieve the optimum balance of comfort and durability.

Responsibly sourced FSC-certified timber, high-quality fillings and beautiful fabrics are combined with locally sourced components wherever possible, supporting the region's long-standing furniture-making heritage.

Let’s look at this in further detail.

Made to last: Crafted using traditional techniques and premium materials

Created in collaboration with esteemed furniture designer, Andy Doherty, each bespoke design is handmade to order in Long Eaton, the heart of British upholstery and available in beautiful fabrics from five of the UK’s most respected textile houses, including Warwick, Wemyss and Romo, selected for their exceptional quality.

Built using FSC-certified hardwood and premium materials throughout, each sofa is created with longevity at its core, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary aesthetic. The result is furniture that showcases the exceptional quality and precision expected of British furniture.

With more than 25 colours to choose from, from earthy neutrals to rich greens and warm greys, you can tailor your sofa to your style, whether you favour textured bouclé, soft brushed cotton linen, plush velvet, or a mohair- or wool-inspired finish.

Responsible manufacturing: Reducing environmental impact through local production

Manufacturing in the UK allows us to maintain close oversight of production while helping to reduce transportation-related emissions associated with international supply chains. By designing our sofas locally, we minimise unnecessary travel and lower the environmental impact.

Where possible, our sofa fillings and components are either manufactured in or sourced from suppliers in Long Eaton, reducing transport miles while supporting local businesses and preserving the skills that have shaped Long Eaton's respected upholstery heritage.

Combined with responsibly sourced materials, including FSC-certified timber, and a focus on creating furniture built to last, our aim is a more sustainable approach to furniture making.

Supporting British craftsmanship: Investing in skills, jobs and the future of UK manufacturing

Behind every sofa is a team of skilled makers whose craft has been developed through years of experience. From frame construction and upholstery to cutting, sewing and finishing, each stage of production relies on expertise that has been passed down through generations of furniture makers.
