Description
An in-house VAUNT design, the Tairu Tiled Coffee Table brings the charm of handcrafted ceramics into the living room. Its square, softly rounded form is covered in glazed tiles in varied light brown tones, giving it a warm, mid-century modern feel, and the soft sheen of the glaze catches the light beautifully.
At 60cm square and 35cm high, Tairu sits low and generous, with plenty of room for books, drinks and a vase of flowers. The body is made from glass-fibre reinforced concrete, which is strong and stable but lighter than solid concrete, and the glazed tile surface is easy to wipe clean. It's suitable for indoor and outdoor use, so it works just as well on a sheltered terrace or patio as it does in the living room.
Each table is finished by skilled craftspeople who take real care over the tiling and the grout lines, giving it a clean, well-made look. Made from hardwearing materials, it's a piece designed to be kept for years rather than replaced.
Pair it with the matching Tairu Side Table in brown for a complete set, or choose the stone glaze for a lighter look.
